We are in Ecuador! Here is how we travelled:
We have decided to fly Avianca, from London to Quito via Bogota, Columbia. This will allow us to leave the UK in the evening on the 22:40 flight, arriving in Quito at 9:10. Unfortunately that means our stopover is from 3:15 to 7:25hrs. All times local!!
One helpful tip, Ines spoke directly to the booking agents in the call centre in Columbia, using her native Spanish skills. We got a great deal on extra luggage which was not available on the website.
